How I work

As an Integrative Counsellor, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, including person-centred and psychodynamic theories to create a way of working that reflects your individual needs, experiences, and ways of processing the world.

I understand that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process, particularly for neurodivergent people who may have previously felt misunderstood, overwhelmed, or expected to fit into approaches that did not feel natural or supportive.

Together, we can explore what feels most helpful for you, whether that’s understanding patterns in relationships, exploring past experiences, processing emotions, navigating burnout or overwhelm, or finding ways to live more sustainably and authentically.

I see the counselling relationship as central to the process, a collaborative space where you can feel heard, accepted, and able to be yourself without pressure to mask or perform. We will work at your pace, in a way that feels safe, meaningful, and manageable for you.
